Meet Teddy a small dog with such a big personality  This little guy is just the best! Teddy is so much fun and he makes the most of life everyday.

Poor Teddy has had to deal with some really difficult conditions and the heartbreak of losing his companion at Dorohoi shelter Maya. Teddy and Maya were kennel mates at the shelter and then Maya was adopted and travelled to the UK. Dorohoi supporters fund raised to get Teddy prepped and travel to the UK where he went to a foster home. He did really well with his foster and began learning to trust people.

The time came for him to leave his foster home so Teddy came here to us. He settled in right away and made friends with the other dogs. He loves the ladies and his best buddy now is our rescue Melody from Onesti who is more than double his size!! Teddy has become a really friendly dog and he loves a fuss and especially a back scratch!!

His nemesis is walking on the lead, he is beyond terrified of the very idea. We think he must have suffered at the hands of the dogs catchers and this is why it has become such a hurdle for him. We continue to persevere at regular intervals to get him used to it.

It is very sad as Teddy is an adoptable dog, he would love a home where he had space to play and another dog for company. As long as he didn’t need to wear a lead he would settle well. A positive is that Teddy is a really happy dog and truly seems to love his life here, so for now in Teddy’s world things are looking good!
