Lilah came to us in November 2019 from the Dorohoi Shelter Romania.

She sadly spent 2 years in the public shelter. Her sister was adopted in Germany and Lilah waited for an offer for freedom.

She had a tough time in the shleter after her sister left and was attacked by other dogs. Lilah can be reactive with other female dogs due to this experience.

She is friendly and affectionate with people and is obedient and quick to learn.

She will make a wonderful companion in a knowledgeable home.

Health Information

Lilah is fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed.

She is approx 8 years old and in good health.

Breed and Temperament

Lilah looks like a small Rottweiler. It is unlikely that she is purebred but her character is very typical of the breed.

She is very affectionate and loves people. She walks happily on the lead with good recall.

Lilah is approx 8 years old but she is full of energy and loves a run off lead in our secure fields.

She shares accommodation with one of our long term rescues Major with no issues. However due to being attacked in the public shelter she is reactive towards female dogs in particular.

Lilah's Ideal Home

Lilah needs a home as an only dog or with another placid male dog for company

She needs to go to a knowledgeable adopter who will be able to manage and control her reactivity towards other dogs. Lilah has a very sweet nature and does not mean to be aggressive.

Her behaviour is entirely fear based and with patience and training she could overcome these issues

Until such time Lilah overcomes her fears she needs an environment that is quiet and calm with space for her to have exercise without having to meet many other dogs.
